Apologies for absence were accepted from Cllrs Collett, Gregory and Lofthouse.

 

DECLARATIONS OF PERSONAL INTEREST

0796 Cllrs R and B Hinchliff declared a personal and prejudicial interest and left the room when this was discussed.  The item was deferred to the end of the meeting.

PLANNING APPLICATIONS

1591     Erection of rear two storey extension to dwelling

1703          Erection of rear conservatory extension to dwelling

25 Clarel Street Penistone for Stuart Vines

1708          Erection of an agricultural Storage building

Penistone Town Council has no objections to the above applications.                               

 

1625          Erection of front conservatory extension to dwelling

The Cottage, Renald Lane, Hoylandswaine

 

The Town Council raised concerns that this is on the front of an already well developed site.

 

1726          Erection of single storey detached workshop to dwelling (Revised Plan).  The Lawns, Barnsley Road, Penistone.

 

This site has been the subject of controversy in the past.  It has close proximity to neighbouring properties and this application is further over development of the site.

 

0796     Erection of 2/3 Storey block of 18 apartments and two dormer bungalows with detached garages. Sunnymede, Huddersfield Road, Penistone

 

The date for commenting on this application was prior to the meeting. As the Town Council has previously objected to this application the previous objections were resubmitted. Cllr Unsworth moved the approval of this action, seconded by Cllr Harrison.

ii)                   Site at The Lawns, Barnsley Road, Penistone
